1. I had a look at the Motion Maps from google service (see http://www.google.com/ig/directory?q=motion+chart) and it would be excellent for historical, geography or similar online data viewing but word Google Fight was much more fun

2. http://phenomenon.org/intense/zentences/flash4.html in the miscellaneous section would be good for a tutor group thought of the day but be warned that some zentances can be inappropriate.
